The Los Angeles Xtreme All Stars premiered at the LA School of Gymnastics in the Fall of 2007. Under the direction of Cheer 4 U Athletics, this All Star Competitive Cheerleading program started with 20 girls ages 10 – 16 years, who were selected following tryouts by demonstrating intermediate to advanced dance, cheer and gymnastics skills. Following a successful first year, the program expanded and team members were divided based on age and ability level to form two separate teams comprised of 35 girls ages 7 – 18 years for the 2008-2009 season. Since then the teams have gone on to place nationally at numerous competitions in the Junior Level 2 and Senior Level 3 divisions. For the upcoming season the Senior team will work towards competing at Level 4. The competitive season runs from September through April with practices scheduled two times a week. The Xtreme All Stars compete at four regional and national competitions as well as make appearances at local events and showcases. Additionally, this Fall the LA Xtreme Dance Team will premiere at the LASG under the direction of former Lakers Girl, Lindsay Dennis. Dance season will run September through February with practices scheduled once a week. The team will compete at three competitions.
